Watch Out Here I Come!

As promised, Mom and Dad were able to capture a few videos of me taking some of my first steps....sorry for the quality, as their cell phones aren't the best.

My First Steps!

Tonight I took my first steps (3 to be exact)! I didn't make it very far before falling, but I am eager to keep trying. It happened pretty fast, so hopefully Mom and Dad will catch it on video the next time I decide to be brave.

My Visit "Up North"...

This weekend we packed up the car and headed up north to visit Mom's good friend Nicole and her family, who just built a beautiful lake house. I had lots of fun on the pontoon, swimming and playing in the sand, but I especially enjoyed being entertained by Nicole's daughter, who took extra good care of me!

After taking a big nose dive in the sand, I decided it was easier to "rake the sand" if I was sitting on the dock.

Vroom Vroom.....

I finally have discovered that John Deere tractors are A LOT more fun than tupperware lids and have been enjoying driving the tractors around while saying "Vroom vroom..." I especially like my JD Gator and I'm hoping Grandpa Chuck will give me a ride on the real one the next time I visit!

Parade Groupie?

After enjoying the Montevideo and Rogers parade, Mom & Dad thought it would be fun to attend the Richmond parade with the Gill/Stang Families.....they were right, I had a great time! I enjoyed watching all the people, but especially enjoyed the frozen "Mr. Freeze" treats that some of the floats handed out...it felt wonderful on my top 2 front teeth that are finally deciding to poke through!

Play Date!

Daycare was closed this week so Mom and I decided to visit the Jostock family today. Here are a couple of picts from our visit:

Daddy's Little Baller...

Well, the concrete for the new basketball hoop finally cured and tonight Dad and some neighbors put up the new hoop. It was quite the process, but well worth it. Dad's already got me practicing my skills.

Even the 3 neighbor dogs were entertained by this event.

My Neighbor Amy is comforting me, as I'm not so sure I'm ready for this hoop.

How quickly I changed my mind...this hoop is a lot of fun...I can even hang on the rim one-handed.

Somebody Help Me Rescue My Truck!

I've recently become very interested in pushing my trucks around and making 'vroom vroom' noises. The following picts show the course of events that happened when I accidentally dropped my truck down the stairs.

1) I've learned that 'wheeling' my truck on the safety gate is fun, but not a good idea.

What a great day to relax.....

This morning Mom and Dad took me on a 10 mile bike ride to the St. Michael park where we had a fun picnic. After that adventure, I think we all needed to relax a bit...

Happy 4th of July!

Today we are heading up to Auntie Annette & Uncle Mark's to celebrate the 4th of July. Since they live on a lake, Mom picked up a cool life jacket for me that I decided to model for Dad. Yesterday was also an exciting day, as the concrete was poured for Dad's new basketball hoop and I got to put my handprint in the concrete.
