Happy New Year!

As usual on New Year's Eve, we got together with the Gill family to ring in the new year. I had lots of fun playing with Natalie...she even gave me a new year's kiss.

More Snow!!!

Because of all this snow, we weren't able to make it back to Madison to celebrate Christmas with the Fernholz's...so I decided to dress up as Santa and send them a picture text. I really wish I could have played with all my cousins, but hopefully I will get to see them soon.

Wow, more snow! We were planning on heading back to Madison today to visit the Fernholz side of the family, but the weather didn't want to cooperate so I got to spend lots of quality time with Mom & Dad building snowmen, playing with playdough, and watching football.

Guess someone must have been dreaming extra hard for a white Christmas, as we got tons of snow today! Since the temp wasn't too bad, we spent some time outside sledding in the backyard. After church I got to open a few presents...one of my favorites was my new "Tickle Me Elmo" since I seem to be obsessed with him lately!

Tonight I decided to get 'suited up' for my daily shoot-around. Don't worry, Dad doesn't make me practice...I actually love to play with my basketball hoop.

My First Vacation!

Dad, Mom and I left on our first family vacation this past Saturday. Since they weren't up for taking me on an airplane, we decided to head up north to Brainerd, where we had a week stay at a resort on Gull Lake. Mom & Dad love the area and even told me the story about how they got engaged up here and even took me to the place where it happened. Compared to the summer, things are pretty quiet, but we had lots of fun activities planned and enjoyed some much needed relaxation.

Happy Thanksgiving...and Happy Birthday Grandma Carole!

Today we got to celebrate Thanksgiving with both the Fernholz and Johnson families. We left bright and early this morning and headed out west to have lunch at Grandma & Grandpa Fernholz. After spending the afternoon outside, we stopped by Auntie Janelle & Uncle Jim's house before driving back to Hanover. It would have been fun to stay the weekend, but Mom was anxious to start her Black Friday shopping.

Do You Believe In Miracles?

OK, so the title is the wrong sport, but I do think a miracle happened today....Dad bought me a Brett Favre jersey!! Mom said she never thought she'd see the day that I would be wearing a #4 jersey, but I guess never say never. Grandpa Johnson watched the Vike's game with us, and the Gill family came over too.

Natalie and me playing under the kitchen table. If you look close, you'll see the bungee cord wrapped around the chair legs. Dad had to get creative because I was pulling out the chairs and climbing on them. Even though they are higher counter-height chairs, it doesn't stop me from climbing.

Grandpa Johnson came to visit me this weekend, and we decided to talk a walk to the neighborhood park. I LOVED going down the "big kids" slide and showed no fear...watch out Mom & Dad!
