Little Candy Corn

Wow...what a fun night! This year I actually got to stay awake for all the trick-or-treaters and even helped Mom hand out candy. Every time the doorbell rang, I would go running to answer the door. I got lots of complements on my Candy Corn costume too. I'm already looking forward to trick-or-treating next year!

Each Halloween, Mom likes to bring out her crafty side and carve pumpkins. This year she's been pretty busy so she only got to carve one, but I think she did a pretty good job.

Look What Dad Taught Me

For those of you that know my Dad, he likes to clean...A LOT! So I got bored just watching him and decided it was my turn to give sweeping a try...I think I did a pretty good job!

YAHOO...Sit & Spin

Even though I might be a little young for this toy, I am loving every minute of my new sit & spin. Most of the time Mom or Dad has to help me spin, but I love dancing to the music it plays when I'm not spinning!

Buckles, Buckles and More Buckles

Whether it be my car seat, stroller, or high chair, there are buckles EVERYWHERE....so I decided it was time for me to figure out how to work these things. I've actually gotten pretty good at the ones at home, so I decided it was time to give the high chair at Grandma Carole's a try....and of course, I managed to figure it out!

Little Thunderhawk

We headed back to Montevideo/Madison this weekend to visit family and also give Dad some time to pheasant hunt. On Saturday, Auntie Janelle and Cousins Adam and Tyler stopped over to Grandpa Gary's house and brought me a very special gift....my very first Montevideo Thunderhawk sweatshirt! I had lots of fun playing with the boys...Tyler even let me play with his toy motorcycle...I think I must be extra special for him to share this toy with me!

Look What I Can Learn in 2 Days

Since my last posting, I've officially graduated "sitting in my chair nicely" to "dare devil" stage....it's amazing what I can learn to do in 2 days! I am now standing up on my chair while rocking at the same time. Mom and Dad decided that wasn't a good idea, so they've taken my chair away...but not before they snapped this quick pict....don't worry, I was being supervised and was not in any danger.

My Little Rocker

Mom and Dad had bought this chair for me a long time ago, and up until now, it was sitting in my room holding all my stuffed animalsl. But for some reason tonight I spotted it and decided it was time for me to try it out.

I better be on my best behavior or maybe this will become my "naughty chair"
OK that was fun...now I want a hug. Mom is so happy that I still love to cuddle!

As much I wish I lived on a farm with real tractors and animals, my pretend farm will have to do for now. It is doing a great job of keeping me entertained and teaching me all my animal sounds.

Forks and Spoons = Fun

Like I've mentioned in my recent posts, I'm becoming VERY independent lately...and that includes trying to feed myself with forks and spoons. Much to Mom's surprise, I actually have pretty good hand/eye coordination and am able to eat with either hand, so the jury is still out as to whether I'll be a lefty or a righty. Which ever hand I use, I still manage to make a big mess.

Watch Out Geek Squad....

I've decided to put down all my basketballs for a bit and enjoy some new technology....cell phones and computer keyboards are my new obsession. Dad finally had enough of me playing his his cell phone that he decided to buy me a pretend one, which I obviously know isn't real and only keeps me entertained for a limited amount of time. I also seem to find keyboards lots of fun, and lucky for me Mom seems to have extras laying around so she gave me my very own real keyboard...guess I know who to ask when I want the real deal :-)

We're Gonna Win Twins!

Today was my first and last Twins game in the Metrodome. Mom and Dad bought tickets A LONG time ago so they could take me to this special event...the last regular season game in the dome. They weren't too sure how long I would last, but surprisingly enough, I made it the whole game, and even the post game ceremonies. They were so proud of me.

Little Book Worm

One of my new favorite things to do is "read" books. I especially love the "touch and feel" kind where there are lots of different textures. I'm pretty independent though, and usually don't like it when Mom or Dad turns the pages...I'd rather do it all by myself.
