Fire Trucks + Easter Eggs = Great Day!

This morning we went to the annual Hanover Fireman's Pancake Breakfast. The food was great, and I got the chance to "drive" one of the old fire trucks. Also, Mom thought this would be a good day for me to color my first Easter Eggs. I was a bit impatient while I had to wait for the colors to set in, but I was really excited with the end result…my favorite color was orange!

Little Teddy Bear

As you can see, Isaac's hair continues to grow and grow and grow.  Mom thinks he looks like a little bear, and so she will often refer to him as her little teddy bear. 

Minute To Win It

Lately I've been a bit too curious and haven't done a great job of taking my afternoon nap.  Today was no exception, as I decided it would be fun to climb up my bookcase, grab my box of tissues, and proceed to pull every last one out of the box.  As you can imagine, Mom & Dad were not happy with me, but I like to think that maybe someday my skills will win me $1 million on "Minute to Win It".

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Since Isaac started daycare, I've decided that he's much more interesting than when it was just he, Mom & I home during the day.  I am frequently asking Mom if I can hold Isaac and I like to remind myself that "I'm a good big brother."  Usually when Dad gets home from work though, all my attention goes back to him, since I'm a major Daddy's Boy.

Isaac's 1st Day of Daycare

Today I got to bring Isaac to daycare with me.  I was very excited to introduce him to all my friends.  Isaac seemed to adjust better to the transition than Mom did!

Tornados & Haircuts

Today we went to a book signing by Reed Timmer, who's known for his spot on the TV show "Storm Chasers." I think if Dad could have a "do over" in college, he would go back to school and become a meteorologist.

After we got done with that, Isaac got his first haircut! When Mom asked if they would cut the hair of a 10 week old, they said “Sure, let me get the Bumbo chair.” Mom had to clarify just how little Isaac was and so she had to hold him while they cut his hair. She was a bit nervous; as the salon is geared towards kids’ haircuts and the chairs were not made for adults…luckily they didn’t need a crowbar to pry her out :-)
