Hanging Out Pool Side!

Today was such a nice day that Mom & Dad let me cool off in my little blue pool. They even brought out all my bath toys to play with. And don't worry, I have a nice cushion below my pool so I'm not sitting directly on the hard concrete :-)

Happy Father's Day!

Wow, what a busy weekend. Mom and Dad packed up the car Saturday morning and we headed 'out west'. We started our visit in Madison at Grandma Carole & Grandpa Chucks...I even got to see Great Grandma Fernholz. Then on Sunday we spend the day with Grandpa Gary....he even took me to my very 1st parade!

I decided to help Dad open one of his presents....

I wasn't enjoying my peas so much, so Grandpa Chuck decided it was time to step in and give me some vanilla pudding...

Who needs an entire playset when you've got a swing?

Since I'm so little and Mom and Dad haven't invested in a playset yet, they thought it would be fun to hang a swing in the garage and let me have a "modified" swing set. I don't seem to mind the difference and love "hanging out", as you can see in the following video (sorry, taken on mom's cell phone so not the best quality).

Time to go for an adventure!

Today I decided I was tired of exploring the first level of my house...and out of the blue, started crawling up the stairs toward my bedroom. I think I caught Mom & Dad off guard, as I previously had shown no interest in the stairs...and before they knew it...up I was going.

I'm tired of these pictures!

As most of you know, since the first day I was born, Mom has continued to take weekly pictures of me next to my teddy bear to track my growth. A few months ago I decided I didn't want to lay down next to the bear, so she started taking our picture in the rocking chair. Well today I had enough of that as well...I'm tired of taking these picts every week and can't wait until Mom finally has given up. Until then, these are what my pictures will look like :-)

Happy 10 Month Bday to Me!

Can you believe in 2 months I will be celebrating my 1st official birthday!!! What a wonderful 10 months this has been. Most recently I am loving "real" food including string cheese, cheerios, and watermelon. I am being a little stinker when it comes to drinking my bottles and hopefully it's just a phase. I still only have my bottom 2 teeth which does make it difficult for me to try some foods. I have also recently started throwing temper tantrums...although it just seems to make Mom & Dad chuckle and I don't end up getting my way so I might have to try a different approach. My favorite toys continue to be my basketball hoop, John Deere tractors from Grandma Carole, jumperoo, and walker. I have also gotten a new obsession with dogs, especially Daisy at daycare, who I absolutely love....I think Dad's hoping mom will finally give in and let me have one of my own. Thanks again for checking in on me!

I bounce back quick!

As you can see, I am fully recovered for my ear surgery. I'm not such a fan of the drops that get put in my ears 2 times a day....or the waxy stuff I now have to wear in the bath, but I guess that's a small price to pay if I don't have to deal with any more ear infections. Thanks again for everyone's positive thoughts, as I know my mom and dad appreciated it.
