Happy Thanksgiving...and Happy Birthday Grandma Carole!

Today we got to celebrate Thanksgiving with both the Fernholz and Johnson families. We left bright and early this morning and headed out west to have lunch at Grandma & Grandpa Fernholz. After spending the afternoon outside, we stopped by Auntie Janelle & Uncle Jim's house before driving back to Hanover. It would have been fun to stay the weekend, but Mom was anxious to start her Black Friday shopping.

Do You Believe In Miracles?

OK, so the title is the wrong sport, but I do think a miracle happened today....Dad bought me a Brett Favre jersey!! Mom said she never thought she'd see the day that I would be wearing a #4 jersey, but I guess never say never. Grandpa Johnson watched the Vike's game with us, and the Gill family came over too.

Natalie and me playing under the kitchen table. If you look close, you'll see the bungee cord wrapped around the chair legs. Dad had to get creative because I was pulling out the chairs and climbing on them. Even though they are higher counter-height chairs, it doesn't stop me from climbing.

Grandpa Johnson came to visit me this weekend, and we decided to talk a walk to the neighborhood park. I LOVED going down the "big kids" slide and showed no fear...watch out Mom & Dad!

Can I Put Drops Anywhere Else?

Over the weekend, it looked like my pink eye infection spread to my ears, as I started having some drainage from both my ears. On the positive side, looks like my tubes are doing their job, but I've had a rough couple of days. Now besides drops in my eyes, I also get to have drops in my ears....hopefully this is the end of "drops" for awhile.

Today I woke up and my eyes were a little pink, but after my morning nap, my right eye was almost swollen shut. Dad took me to the doc, and they said I had pink eye :-( Mom was relieved at the diagnosis, as she was afraid I'd had an allergic reaction, as my skin has also be quite sensitive lately. So now I get drops put in my eyes for the next week....could be worse I suppose.

A Fall Sunday Afternoon

Even though Dad likes to yell at the squirrels when they are digging up the backyard, he still enjoys feeding them, so today I help him put corn in the tree feeders.

I seem to be able to climb just about anything these days...it won't be long until I'm climbing the big trees!

A Visit From the Gill's

Joe, Natalie & Ben Gill stopped over today for a visit. Mom got to babysit Baby Ben for the afternoon and she said he's even a better baby than I was :-) I wasn't too sure what to think of him at first, so I kept my distance, but eventually I got brave and introduced myself with a gentle handshake.

Even though Natalie is a year older than me, it won't be long before I'm passing her in height. Hopefully when she is older she likes boys that are tall!

While Baby Ben was napping, Mom and I enjoyed the great weather and Dad decided to put up the Christmas lights.
